Perpetual Novena of St Anthony of Padua will take place every Tuesday morning here in St Anthony’s church. 9.30 am Silent Adoration followed by 10 am Holy Mass—Novena

Our Mission Statement

First Holy Communion and Confirmation

Preparation for first Holy Communion and Confirmation is undertaken jointly between the parish and St Anthony’s Primary school.  Children (and parents of children) attending St Anthony’s Primary school will be guided through the process by school staff.

Otherwise Children and adults wishing to receive these sacraments should make contact with the Parish Priest.

Baptisms

Please come along to one of our weekends masses and introduce yourself to Father George who will be happy to explain next steps.

Marriages

Please come along to one of our masses and introduce yourself to Father George who will will guide you through the process of getting  married. 

Please note you need to leave at least 6 months notice in order to complete the preparation.

Deaths

In the event of a death of a family member or loved one please contact the parish priest on the parish contact number.

Safeguarding

All adult volunteers who have contact with Children and Young People and or Vulnerable Adults are checked in accordance with Catholic national and diocesan procedures. 

They carry out their volunteer activity in accordance with good, safe practice standards. 

Our parish Safeguarding representative undertakes the local work in relation to the procedures and the checking is undertaken by the diocesan safeguarding team.
